Executive Director, Group Head of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition


WRISE Group is an independent wealth management and financial services platform serving high-net-worth and institutional clients across Asia, the Middle East and other international markets. As the Group continues to expand its global footprint, we are seeking an experienced Group Head of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition to lead the firm’s global people strategy and build a high-performance organisation.

This role will partner closely with the Executive Chairman, Group CEO, and senior leadership team, advising on organisational design, talent strategy, leadership development and culture as the Group enters its next phase of international growth.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Define, develop and execute the Group’s global people strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and growth plans.
  • Advise the Executive Chairman, CEO and Board on workforce planning, organisational design, leadership capability and change management.
  • Scale HR capabilities across multiple jurisdictions, balancing global consistency with local regulatory and cultural considerations.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership on strategic organisational matters.

Talent Acquisition & Talent Management

  • Lead the Group’s global recruitment strategy, with particular focus on senior leadership hiring and critical talent roles.
  • Build strong talent pipelines across key markets, including Asia and the Middle East.
  • Oversee succession planning, leadership pipeline development and high-potential employee programmes.
  • Strengthen WRISE’s employer brand to attract and retain top-tier talent within the wealth management and financial services industry.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that support a high-performance and inclusive workplace.

Compensation, Benefits & ESOP

  • Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Group’s Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP) and other equity-based incentive schemes.
  • Ensure compensation structures effectively align employee incentives with long-term shareholder value creation.
  • Review and refine total rewards strategies to ensure competitiveness, retention and cost effectiveness.

Organisational Culture & Development

  • Shape and sustain a strong corporate culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation.
  • Drive cultural alignment across geographies, ensuring a consistent employee experience while respecting local context.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention and organisational performance.

Learning & Organisational Development

  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies to strengthen workforce capabilities and leadership skills.
  • Introduce modern performance management frameworks and talent development tools.
  • Guide the organisation through growth, transformation, restructuring or integration initiatives with a people-centric approach.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Act as a trusted advisor in sensitive HR matters, employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with employment laws and regulatory requirements across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Promote transparency, fairness and trust through effective grievance and issue resolution mechanisms.

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and mentor HR teams across regions, building capabilities and fostering excellence.
  • Establish and monitor HR KPIs and analytics to measure the effectiveness of people strategies.
  • Maintain oversight of HR operations, systems and processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador for the organisation’s values and leadership principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; Master’s degree or advanced HR certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP, CIPD, IHRP) preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive-level HR role.
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, banking or asset management preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise across talent management, compensation & benefits, organisational development, learning & development, and culture-building.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing ESOP or equity-based incentive programmes.
  • Experience operating in multi-market or multinational organisations.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with Board members, senior executives and employees across all levels.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, HR governance and regulatory frameworks across key markets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability and resilience in dynamic, fast-growing organisations.
